Minor in Japanese
The Japanese minor requires 18 units, of which at least 12 must be upper level (300-400). Of the remaining 6 units of electives only 3 units may be at the 100-level.

Native and Heritage speakers of Japanese may earn up to 6 units for JPNS 301 and/or JPNS 302 by taking the Languages, Literatures and Cultures Departmental Challenge Exam.

Language minors may transfer up to 6 units toward a minor and must earn 6 upper-division units at Towson. Courses should be selected in consultation with the student's minor adviser.
