Student Outreach and Support (SOS) helps students navigate challenges—big or small—by connecting them with resources and empowering them to overcome obstacles. Located within the Dean of Students Office, the SOS team is committed to providing compassionate, solution-focused support grounded in motivational interviewing, coaching, and promoting self-advocacy.
 
SOS assists students in understanding and navigating Towson University’s systems and processes across a variety of departments and services. Through coordination of care, timely response, and individualized interventions, SOS works with students in crisis or navigating significant life events.

Students can connect with SOS in person or by completing an SOS Form. The team is here to ensure students feel supported, heard, and connected to the right resources.
